Review

This dictionary is the first English-language source of definitions of epidemiological terminology used by epidemiologists, animal health specialists and veterinarians worldwide. It is a huge treatise on the study and practice of veterinary epidemiology.

In addition to the translators, the text has nine editors, two associate editors, and 55 contributors - veterinary medicine experts - from the United States, Canada, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

Despite the technical complexity of the subject, the contents are very clearly and succinctly presented and also well-illustrated with tables, graphs & diagrams.
